Portable Davit Fall Protection System

The most versatile Pelsue davit configuration. The expandable base includes built-in leveling jacks and a bullseye level for stable setup on uneven ground. Collapses to fit in a work truck for easy transport between sites. Compatible with the DK1824 arm (18"/24" offset). Includes one hoist bracket and mounting plate. Hoist not included.

Portable Davit Bases:

  • EB56 – Adjustable base, 36″ – 56″ inside width, 18″ maximum offset
  • EB66 – Adjustable base, 46″ – 66″ inside width, 24″ maximum offset
  • DBF-43A – Folding base, 48″ W x 36″ deep nominally, 18″ maximum offset, aluminum

Permanent Base Davit Fall Protection System

For confined space access points that crews return to repeatedly. The permanent sleeve can be bolted to the floor, mounted to a wall, or set in fresh or existing concrete — giving you a 360° pivot, ready-to-use installation that's always on-site. The davit arm stores separately when not in use and drops into the sleeve in seconds. Compatible with DK1824, DK3036, and DK4248 arms. Includes one hoist bracket and mounting plate. Hoist not included.

Vehicle Hitch Mount Davit System

When carrying a portable base to a confined space is impractical or unsafe — especially in an emergency — the vehicle hitch mount is the answer. Connects to any 2" square receiver hitch. The multi-directional hitch receptacle (HSJ2) lets you drive directly to the opening and position the davit exactly where you need it. Kit includes VHS-A1 base, DK1824 arm, and HSJ2 receptacle. Hoist not included.

Davit Arms

BA24

All Pelsue davit arms include a center post (CP60), elbow (EM01), and offset arm — sold separately from the base. Select the offset that clears your opening. Reversing the elbow adds 6" of additional reach. One hoist bracket and mounting plate included with every complete arm.

When entering a confined space by ladder or being lowered mechanically, attach the worker to this unit as the independent lifeline. Fall arrest within 2 feet.

Dedicated fall arrest SRL with internal components in bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum. Includes a stress indicator to warn if the unit has arrested a fall. Pair with a Personnel Hoist for retrieval capability. Fall arrest within 2 feet. Meets or exceeds OSHA requirements for confined space rescue.
