Quick Rescue Hoists

When a worker needs rescue and isn't already hooked in, seconds are the difference. The Quick Rescue Hoists' line is not permanently affixed to the drum — letting you clip the line to a fallen worker via the Rescue Pole from outside the space, run it over the pulley, and retrieve immediately. 310 lb man-rated. OSHA & ANSI Compliant. Made in USA.

The Key Innovation

The Line Is Not Permanently Attached

Standard personnel hoists have their line fixed to the drum. In a true emergency — when a worker is incapacitated and not already hooked in — that setup forces rescuers into the space before retrieval can begin. The  Quick Rescue Hoist solves this. Because the line is not permanently affixed, the rescue team can use the Pelsue Rescue Pole to clip the line to the endangered worker from outside the confined space, run it over the pulley, attach it to the hoist, and retrieve immediately.

How the Quick Rescue Hoist Works

For use when a worker is not already hooked into a hoist or SRL.

1

Clip the Line

Use the Pelsue Rescue Pole to reach the free end of the PHQR line and clip it to the fallen or endangered worker — without entering the confined space.

2

Run Over the Pulley

Feed the line over the davit or tripod pulley. Because the line is free from the drum, this step is fast and does not require pre-rigging inside the space.

3

Attach & Retrieve

Attach the line to the hoist drum and begin retrieval. The 5.5:1 gear ratio delivers 23′/min retrieval — fast enough when every second counts.
