SolarShade® Shelters

Solar-blocking material on every interior surface — roof and walls. Two products designed around the same blackout fabric technology, serving two distinct purposes: maximum-ventilation crew shade, and sealed blackout splicing workspace.

SolarShade® Shelters Features

SolarShade® Work Shelter

6506SBRS · 6508SBRS · 6510SBRS

Maximum-ventilation crew shade for hot outdoor work. Three full-size roll-up mesh walls open the tent to airflow while the solar-blocking interior blocks heat and light gain. Pop-up roof vent exhausts hot air and draws in cool drafts. Removable fly blocks late-afternoon low-angle sun. Three sizes — 6×6, 8×8, 10×10.

California Title 8 §3395 — Heat Illness Prevention

California law requires shade to be present whenever the outdoor temperature exceeds 85°F. The SolarShade® Work Shelter satisfies this requirement — it provides sufficient shade for the number of employees taking recovery periods, is open to the air or ventilated, and can be rapidly deployed before temperatures reach the threshold. Other states and OSHA's Heat Illness Prevention guidelines carry similar requirements.
