Pelsue Aluminum Manhole Shields are temporary pneumatic seals that prevent groundwater from entering open manholes. Inflate the tube to 5–10 lbs. of air or nitrogen to form a water-tight seal — no clamps, no sealing compounds, no tools. The reversible Series 2730 fits both 27" and 30" communications manhole openings. The 3336 fits many electric utility manholes at 33" and 36". All aluminum fabrication.

The Pel Protector is a lightweight molded fiberglass screen that mounts directly on the manhole shield, creating a protective overhead barrier without blocking ventilation or emergency egress. Strong enough to hold the weight of an average adult. Easy enough to remove in seconds.
