Fiber Splicing Van
A complete fiber splicing workstation built into a Ford Transit — no trailer to tow, no hitch required. Drives and parks anywhere a standard work van can go. Cummins Onan genset, 15,000 BTU rooftop A/C, full countertop and cabinetry, LED lighting, amber strobe lights, and cable access door — all upfitted by Pelsue with superior craftsmanship for years of durable service.
Goes Where a Van Goes
A fiber splicing trailer is the right tool for many jobs — but some operations are better served by a vehicle that can go directly to the splice location without towing logistics. The Pelsue Fiber Splicing Van is a Ford Transit Extended High-Roof upfitted with everything a trailer provides: genset power, full A/C, countertops and cabinetry, LED lighting, and cable access — in a package that drives and parks like a standard work van. Slide open the side door and you're at the workstation. No backing in, no leveling, no disconnect.
No tow vehicle needed
The van is the tow vehicle and the workspace in one — no separate truck, no hitch, no trailer wiring.
Access anywhere a van can go
Park at the splice point directly — no wide turning radius, no trailer clearance issues in tight residential and urban locations.
Slide door entry
The van's sliding side door provides fast, effortless entry and exit — no steps, no tailgate, no rear-door clearance requirement.
Full genset power
Cummins Onan genset with 120/240 VAC — all the power needed for splicing equipment, lighting, and A/C simultaneously.
A Complete Splicing Station on Wheels
The cargo area is insulated with fiberglass board and batting, ceiling-lined with polypropylene panels, and equipped with a full-length 36″ countertop running the streetside wall — two Pelsue gravity-lock 4-drawer modules and two single-door cabinet modules below. Full-length pegboard panels above the countertop keep tools and equipment organized and accessible. The Cummins Onan genset lives in a dedicated insulated and lined compartment with a locking exterior access door on the streetside aft of the driver's door. A 16″ × cable access door with 4″ × 6″ slot in the rear streetside door handles cable entry without opening the main rear doors.
